Lost
Lost has been a hit new TV series in the US during its first season and has been one of the top 10 downloads that UK net users have been waiting to download every week (BBC news). Late last year E4 picked up this series, starring Matthew Fox and Dominic Monaghan, when it bought the rights to Desperate Housewives, but has yet to air any of the episodes. Which is a shame, as the series is fantastic, is already up episode 17 in the US, and to cap it all, the region 1 DVD boxset will hit the American stores in September, about three weeks before the second season starts.

The six disc set will have deleted scenes, commentaries, casting tapes, bloopers and a featurette featuring photography by series star Matthew Fox.

If you haven't seen this - watch it when it airs on E4. And then buy the DVD. You will not regret it!

UPDATE:
J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof, co-creators of the series, are considering filming a mini-movie exclusively for the first-season DVD. "We'd love to have something people who get a DVD can see," Lindelof said. "It's just a matter of getting the actors and getting the money and finding the time."

Another extra is likely to be a documentary about the plane that the production team located in the Mojave Desert, sliced into pieces and barged to Hawaii to serve as the show's backdrop.
