anybody have got any problem to view copies from this home theather system? Thanks. Is there a SOFTWARE to liberate this problem¿ May I cheat or modify the system in order to view any copy?

I have the same problem since they replaced the laser. Now I'm looking for firmware to update my bios, because since last week it only reads original movies and not my home made and burned camcorder movies.
So far I have not been able to find any firmware so I can rule out the possibility of old firmware.

Hello
There is a solution for the read problem. When you insert your own burned movie, it has to be a DVD- (minus), not a DVD+ or RW. Put it in, stay with the player and when the DVD begins to spin, hold down the Forward button. After a little time the player will start. Good luck ;-)

Can region 1 be played on the TH-A9. So far I am not able to do so. Does anyone have any suggestions how to play Region 1 movies or for that matter all regions.
