JVC TH-9 DVD DIGITAL THEATRE SYSTEM
I recently purchased the above and have played many movies with no problems. Until I purchased a copy of "Bram Stokers Dracula" the one with Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder. Half way through the movie the picture freezes and continually stops and starts to the end of the movie. I have tried to go back to scene selections but it freezes again and I have to switch the unit off. Anyone having similar problems.??

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH ANY NON-ORIGINAL DVD'S. I AM NOT SURE BUT IT IS MY GUESS THE PROCESSOR OR A CHIP GETS TOO HOT THEN THE DVD WON'T PLAY.
I ALSO BELIEVE IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO MAKE THESE PLAYERS REGION FREE - IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO DO IT, EVEN BY CHANGING A CHIP, PLEASE, LET ME KNOW.
