can someone please help me on converting rar files which is a xvid to dvd please

This is what works for me:
1. Unzip the rar file with WinRar and extract the files to a folder.
2. Usually the movies are avi files and I convert them with WinAVI.
3. Use DVDShrink to burn the converted files to DVD.
Use Google to find the programs you're unfamiliar with. Good luck!
