DVD plays on player but not on computer
My notebook will play region free (DVD Region+CSS Free) all rented DVDs and borrowered DVDs from other countries. I work on a ship and get DVDs from around the world. At home I have a Gradiente D680 nultimedia DVD Divx compatable which plays everything. A coworker from Canada made some DVDs with five movies on each disk. My Acer Travelmate 3000 and my HP dv4000 notebooks will not read the DVDs. The computer does not see any files and gives me a message that there is not a DVD in the tray. Any ideas why I can not play these DVDs.

Computer wont recognize DVD in tray even in control panel
