Copying movies to DVD with date/time displayed

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question, so please excuse my ignorance.

I have a miniDV camcorder and I copied the tape to the hard disk using firewire and MovieMaker. But when I try to create DVD's, I do not see the date/time for every scene. I know that the date/time is present in the avi file created by MovieMaker. But somehow it doesn't show when I create DVD (tried couple of sw, including Pinnacle 8).

How do I display dates in the created DVD ?
