unwanted commentary
I can't turn off the director's commentary on a Hong Kong DVD I was recently given. The only audio options I have on my LG player are DTS 5.1 channel, where I get no sound, and DD2 channel where I get sound but can't get rid of the commentary.
The DVD menu does not have on/off options for it either.

re: unwanted commentary
It sounds like the DD2 audio track is the standard commentary track, and is playing normally, but for whatever reason the DTS5.1 isn't playing.
What is your sound source? Do you have an external amp, or is the sound coming from your TV speakers?
If from your TV speakers, then you will need to pass the digital output to an external amp to hear the DTS soundtrack. The DVD player may simply downmix the DD2 into normal stereo PCM which your TV will be OK with, but might not be able to do this for DTS.
If you are already using an external amp, can it cope with DTS?
Your DVD player system menus might have some menu options on whether to downmix the audio - what DVD player model is it?
